2/20/2008 - More B-Quite / Wire Work

I have pretty much decided that I will replace the existing Speedometer and in-dash instruments with aftermarket units. Since my original under dash wiring harness is in very good shape I hated to cut it up so I bought one that 'needs a few splices' off ebay. Should have know what a 'few' was but it worked out.

Just an overview shot of the harness

This is the main area of concern.. the dash connector. Reviewed, validated, and labeled for future instructions

I am pretty sure I am going to replace the fuse box with a modern unit from Painless. As such I went ahead and separated the firewall connector and the factory box to make sure how it works. Shouldn't be too hard from here except for the price of a fuse box.
Firewall B-Quite

I pulled the dash back out from it's temporary mount and finished up the firewall with B-Quite. Still Shiney...

Just another view of the firewall completed. Fortunately I didn't have to pull the pedals to do the install.
