2011 – Driving and Enjoying
The car has been driven for a couple years now with very little troubles. I repainted the window trim and the wings to the gray which I think is close enough for my intents and purposes. I have all the parts to put AC back on the car and will be doing that soon.
The car runs and drives fine but does still need valve seals as it smokes on start up after sitting a while. Likely needs a full pull and rebuild at some point in the future.
It also has some issues under full load and seems to peak out a bit too soon. I am pretty sure the cat is stopped up to some degree as it does seem the cat seems to run quite hot. It is a unique cross over version in 1985 so I’m sure it’s not cheap or easy to find so a solution will have to be figured out.
