Although the 31″ tires clear fine with the existing setup, I really didn’t want to mess with fixing the rust on the fender lips. I really didn’t like the squared look the fenders had with the bigger tires either so I took the quick fix route and opened up the fenders thereby removing the rust and make things look a little more aggressive in my opinion at least.

Stock openings were ok, just a lot of rust and a little tight.
Marked out what I thought would work to get rid of the rust but still work out well. Gets ride of the dent too 🙂
Front cuts were very similar to rears to keep things consistent.
Had to deal with inner fender cuts up front though too
I liked it much better myself – kind of stuck with 30 or 31s now but that’s ok.
