1985 Thunder Bird Drag Car

I owned a 1986 Turbocoupe Thunderbird like this body style so loved when the Pro Stock kits came out as I could build out a car I owned at the time. The kit is all stock built with the doors and trunk opened up and wiring and plumbing etc added. Pretty straight forward but I was happy with results.

Front nose view, hood off and doors open. Looks pretty realistic to me… except the cardboard box in the background.
The engine is a Boss 429 Pro Stock motor with basic wiring and plumbing added. Includes tach drive cable, Accel coil and basic detailing.
Trunk area, missing one mounting tab that fell off. Left the dual batteries, adding fuel lines and aged the chute a bit.
Door open and interior view. The door skins are coke cans creased to look right and the sliding door latches actually worked.
